Cottage Pie

This is comfort food with a story. My husband is English, and with his guidance I’ve perfected this recipe so it tastes just like the real thing.

We use seasoned ground beef gently simmered with onions and carrots in a rich, luscious gravy made from tomato paste, a splash of red wine, and slow cooking until the flavors are deep and savory. No peas—so even the pickiest kids will clean their plates!

Topped with creamy, buttery mashed potatoes and finished in your own oven, this Cottage Pie is designed for you to bake at home. It comes ready to heat, filling your kitchen with the aroma of a cozy home-cooked meal and serving up golden, bubbling perfection.

💡 Fun fact: Shepherd’s Pie is made with lamb, while Cottage Pie is made with beef. Both have the same comforting mashed potato topping, but our Cottage Pie leans into the heartiness of beef and that crave-worthy gravy for a dish that’s classic, family-friendly, and deeply satisfying.

Our one serving option is very generous and can be split as a meal for 2, especially if you add a salad or desserts or both!
